The construction of this project is intended to enable the establishment of the Institute for Innovative Materials, the hosting of foreign researchers, the organisation of meetings and the accommodation of foreign researchers. This project is based on a complex programme of premises constrained by four different uses: offices, common rooms, laboratories, and accommodation. It must attain BBC Effinergie, RT 2012 performance levels while incorporating renewable energies. The building design is based around the following user and functional entities: common room, Cergy Geosciences and Environment laboratories, ERRMECe laboratories (4 class L1 and L2 laboratories), technology platform, communal areas, offices.
