The footbridge forms part of the project for the re-landscaping of the Saint Denis canal.
The footbridge consists of two parallel, symmetric structures, 2.80 metres wide. Each of the two structures comprises:
– a ramp end on earthworks, parallel to the Canal de l’Ourcq,
– a ramp parallel to the canal, with equal spans supported by a single row of inclined piles, spaced at 11.40 m intervals,
– a structure for the crossing of the Dock, with a 42.20 m span,
– an 11.80 m span followed by steps.

Both structures connect above the Dock, thus forming a single platform over the 42.20 m length of the crossing and the two adjacent 11.40 m and 11.80 m spans.
