This iconic hotel would remain one of the most elegant establishments on the C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur for decades, and the greatest personalities of the time stayed there. Following its closure in 1974, it was looted and went into decline from the 1980s and then gradually fell into disrepair.\r\nThe conversion of this magnificent historic hotel into a prestigious apartment building retains the original Art Deco style of the 1930s as well as the so-called neo-Proven\u00e7al style.\r\nThe future apartment building will retain the Proven\u00e7al name and will include 27 high-luxury apartments, a penthouse, spa, shops, staff apartments, car parking and a plant room.\r\nTerrell was commissioned for the structural engineering studies for the rehabilitation of the building and surrounding walls as well as the civil engineering for all underground plant rooms outside the building footprint.\r\nProject delivery end 2023.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The H\u00f4tel Proven\u00e7al was built by architect Roger S\u00e9assal in 1926, in the pine forest at Juan-les-Pins.
