The bridge will be of an equal width to that of the old bridge in order to accommodate all the soft modes of transport except for equestrian. There will be a second bridge overlooking the \u201cTh\u00e9\u00e2tre de Verdure\u201d of the \u00eele aux Dames and arriving on the left bank. This bridge will have a clear width of 5 m allowing crossing over of all non-motorized traffic expect for equestrian. On the \u00cele aux Dames side, the starting point of the bridge is set at the summit of the \u201cTh\u00e9\u00e2tre de Verdure\u201d in order to create an impression around it. On the Mantes side, the bridge will arrive at the central point of a network for non motorized traffic.
