This project involves the partial redesign of the “Sequana” office building at 83-93 Quai Panhard et Levassor in Paris’ 13th arrondissement. The complex comprises two independent superstructures built on a shared foundation with two basement levels.
The plan is to relocate access to the building via basement 1 by creating an entrance off the banks of the Seine via planted steps created once the existing slabs have been demolished.
With a view to increasing the density of available office space, a steel-framed mezzanine has been constructed within Sequana 2.
The steel frame supporting the roofs has been reinforced with welded steel plates to allow the creation of green spaces.
Terrell is proud to be involved in redesigning a building designed over 20 years ago.
