Five new halls of residence providing over 800 student bedrooms and a new academic building, with modern and flexible teaching spaces. In addition, the halls will house the Business School and social & sports facilities.

Primarily constructed using reinforced concrete, the 5 towers range between 10 and 18 stories high and are connected via a 2-story podium structure. The building is founded on piles, with a contiguous piled retaining wall across the southern elevation of the site to manage the changing topography. Braced steel frames are present on each tower to form enclosed plant areas.

A detailed 3D wind load analysis was required to provide relevant loading for the facades.
