The project involves soft stripping, asbestos removal, partial demolition and reconstruction of the regional headquarters of Crédit Agricole Alsace-Vosges.
The operation includes the restructuring of administrative offices, a staff restaurant, a 250-seat immersive auditorium, modular training rooms, and an underground parking facility.
The opaque façades are built using timber frame construction (wood-frame structure) with bio-based insulation. They are clad externally with natural stone panels mechanically fixed to the structure, incorporating projecting vertical fins and cornices supported by the timber framework. Aluminum-framed windows with triple glazing are integrated into these opaque façades. The building is certified Passivhaus.
Energy and environmental performance:
The project follows a High Environmental Quality (HQE) approach and integrates a virtuous deconstruction strategy (reuse rate > 1.5%).
Certifications:
Passivhaus certification – Passive Building level
BBCA certification – Standard level (1250 kg CO₂ eq/m² GFA)
BREEAM certification – Excellent level
R2S certification – 2-Star level
The project is also eligible for the regional Climaxion call for projects, supporting mixed timber-concrete construction and enhanced airtightness strategies.
