Construction of a new school complex with a capacity of 12 classrooms, including 5 kindergarten classes and 7 primary classes, associated after-school facilities, a dining hall, and a satellite kitchen linked to the central catering facility, as well as all outdoor spaces required for the school’s operation.

The load-bearing structure consists of timber columns and beams with external timber-frame walls. Internal partitions are constructed from unstabilised raw earth bricks, while internal load-bearing cross walls in solid brick provide lateral stability to the building. The façades are built with fired clay bricks installed as a double-skin wall in front of the timber frame structure.

Environmental performance targets are aligned with achieving “Bâtiments Durables Occitanie” (BDO) Gold certification, which was awarded at the design stage. The project also targets an E3C1 environmental performance level and meets BEPOS Effinergie 2017 objectives for building envelope performance and energy consumption control.
