The project, carried out in our capacity as MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Fire Safety Systems – SSI) engineering consultants, aims to renovate the Ecole des Beaux Arts and the l’Ecole supérieure d’Architecture de Paris (ENSAP) (ENSAP), which comprise buildings dating from the 17th to the 20th centuries.

The first phase of the project consisted of a diagnostic assessment based on data provided by the client, combined with on-site inspections. Following the audit, Terrell proposed an optimisation of the technical rooms in terms of both surface area and location.

A restructuring of certain systems was recommended in order to improve overall building performance and comfort, due to the inconsistencies between current heating and ventilation systems and the actual use of the premises, as well as the obsolescence of electrical equipment.
