Structural Engineering Design

TERRELL’s role: Structural Engineering from Concept through to Detailed Design and Site Supervision.

In the heart of the new zone currently being developed on the former Renault factory site at Boulogne- Billancourt, this is a 19-storey office and retail building with 4 levels of underground car parking. The building consists of a reinforced concrete central lateral stability core with beam and slab concrete superstructure structures. “Top and down” construction method has been chosen for the infrastructure. The foundation level consists of a raft to resist ground water pressure. The precast basement columns are founded on precast concrete barrette piles, with a waterproof reinforced diaphragm wall enclosing the basement levels.
