The project consists of the rehabilitation and 2-storey upward extension of a building dating from the 1990s.
The scheme provides for architectural enhancement of the real estate complex, involving modification of vertical circulations (cores), reconfiguration of the interior patios and modification of the existing facade.
The substructure on 3 basement levels, circumscribed by a relatively watertight enclosure, achieved by means of a diaphragm wall, is retained. The verticals and the foundations are reinforced, after comparison of the project’s new vertical load distribution to the initial existing situation.
